Dr. Bernd Malmström

Dr Bernd Malmström ble medlem av styret i selskapet i desember 2005. Han ble valgt som styreleder i IFCO 26.09.2006. Dr. Malmström ble opprinnelig valgt for en periode på fire (4) år, og ble 27.03.2009 gjenvalgt for en ny periode. I forbindelse med innføringen av en enstrenget ledelsesstruktur, fratrådte Dr. Malmström sin stilling i styret 25.05.2011. Effektuert 26.05.2011 ble Dr. Malmström utnevnt som non-excecutive medlem av, og formann for Board of Directors for en periode på fire (4) år. Dr. Malmström studerte jus ved universitetene i Kiel og Freiburd (Tyskland), og har oppnådd en doktorgrad (Ph.D). Hans stilling er advokat. Forut for dette har han hatt ulike lederstillinger hos Deutsche Bahn AG, Stinnes AG, Schenker-Rhenus-Group AG & Co AG (Advisory Board), Deutsche Afrika-Linien GmbH (Advisory Board), time:matters GmbH (Formann for Advisory Board), HHLA Intermodal GmbH (Styremedlem) og Schweizer Bundesbahn SBB AG (Board of Administration).
